Activities Of The Huanghua Depression, The Newly Department Of Fracture Characteristics And Their Relationship, And Hydrocarbon Accumulation

Bohai Bay basin is an important target area to increase reserves and production , while Huanghua depression is one of the most important part of Bohai Bay basin. The previous research showed that oil and gas pools of upper Tertiary system have close relationship with distribution and activity of fault system. Therefore, systemically research on distribution and activity of fault system in the middle part of Huanghua depression is done in this paper, including the quantitative analysis of planar distribution and activity of fault system ,the anatomization of the activity and evolution of the major fault, in order to determine the relativity and cause of the fault system. Conbined with the found reservoirs and the evidences of oil and gas displaying .The relationship between fault activity time and activity characteristic, planar distribution and the displacement type of the fault system, the contact relationship of lithology with the formation of oil and gas pools is discussed and finally the faults developing model to form oil and gas pools of upper Tertiary system are found in middle part Huanghua depression. According to the study, several conclusions can be got in the following:1)The most active period of the faults are quite different in different fault system in the middle part; 2) The faults which are active in the earlier neogene and activity stop in the later neogene is favor for the oil and gas pools; 3) On planer tectonic framework , "入"type structure plays controlling role in the distribution and forming of oil and gas reservoirs, whole the section, the place where "Y" type assemblage are combined is favor for the oil and gas pools, but complicated "Y" type assemblage is unfavor for the up-immigration of oil and gas; 4) Four fault developing models are found in the middle part of Huanghua depression .
