In order to operate"Chang 6 Sediment faces research and discription in Hujianshan and Xinchengdistrict" thesis we will make the sediment faces study in this place, knowing connected conditon and planardistributing form of sandstone, prospecting variational rule of the sandstone thickness..We basing it, studyingphysical character of storage layer and explained model, grasping mostly controlled factor of oil migration andbecoming petroleum reservoir, analysing the oil becomed petroleum reservoir, preparing for the better choosedaims. According to the aims and train of thought, this thesis has been developed several sides of research: 1.Particularly observing and describing core of rock 21 wells, analysing per-well face, building the wellpattern of sediment tittle face. 2.Making fine study in sediment face from oil group in chang 622,chang612,chang611 of chang 6 sect. 3.Automaticly distinguishing lithology and sendiment tittle face by computer. 4.Analysing heavy mineral,etheral mineral,micro mineral to know the source of supply and water medium. 5.Discribing and evaluating the reservoir bed character, building explanative model, analyzing explanativeresults. 6.Studying the rules of becoming petroleum reservoir. This thesis has gained 5 studying results and new points: 1.Observing core of rock we find 22 kinds of lithology, this district has been composed the front of delta, wecan discover submarine diffluent river, submarine crude dyke, submarine fan, submarine diffluent sunken,fluvial dyke, far dyke, over-bank sediment, diffluent gulf, front delta mud, cuttings mostly composed oftransmutative rock and lava, lessly sediment rock, rock type composed of lithology felspar sand stone; 2.Great help from automaticly distinguishing tittle face by computer, indicating this method credible; makingsure measurable parameter of sediment faces, basing for several wells distinguishing faces; 3.Study of sediment tittle face indicating, this district attributed by fluvial delta which is affected mostly byriver. Each period of chang 6 developed east,middle,west,three front delta in submarine diffluent river,south-west developed small fluvial dyke face, during chang 621 to chang 6(12) , middle submarine diffluent riverconnected in the south-west. Each time sandstone distributed east-north—west-south direction. 4.Distributing of oil sandstone was controlled by the band of sediment face and structure, petroleumreservoir mostly composed by the lithology petroleum reservoir, the high of small nose structure easilycollected petroleum reservoir. 5.By the effect of physical charater and heterosphere, oil was collected from the near source of supply.
