This paper is focused on characteristic and distribution of the alluvial fan reservoir flow units of the BaiKouQuan group of the Bai21 area in the BaiKouQuan Oilfield, ZhunGaEr basin. Based on the basal characteristic and geological reality of the oilfield, a sort of research method and technology is suggested and performed.Several achievements have been obtained as follows: First, using High Resolution Sequence Stratigraphy to establish stratigraphic structure, four kind of interfaces have been found. Based on it, the study of micro-structure of main oiliness layer is taken on, It consider that remaining oil mainly lies in micro fault-nose, micro nose and high point. Second, by analyzing single well sedimentary microfacies from well rock, the alluvial fan microfacies sedimentary model has been set up to reveal the distribution sedimentary microfacies. Third, reserves calculation are taken in the flow unit about the initial oil reserve, cumulate output oil reserve and remaining oil reserve to study the distribution laws of the remaining oil. Fourth, clarifying the controlling factors of the remaining oil and establishing the distribution pattern of remaining oil.
