With the quickly development of Internet, Internet provides a new way to spatial data transmission. In the process of data dissemination, the technology of data compression offers a primary solution for conflict between the narrow bandwidth and a mass of data, and as base of feasibility of data dissemination, the technology of data encryption assures data transmission security. So the technology of data encryption and data compression is a pivotal composition in the system of data dissemination. At same time, digital watermarking, coming forth as a new technology, provides a new measure for hiding and tracking of data.Based on the study of primary theory and method of data compression and data encryption, the dissertation especially discusses the concentrate arithmetic of data compression and data encryption. This dissertation lucubrate some kinds of encryption arithmetic, such as DES and AES symmetry encryption arithmetic and RSA asymmetry encryption arithmetic, then compare and analyze these arithmetic and proposed a new encryption arithmetic named disperse- combination. This paper analyze the theory and realization about several kinds of compression arithmetic such as Huffman , LZ77, LZ78, LZW etc, and compare the characteristic, advantage and disadvantage of them. Base on these comparisons and balance of the arithmetic, a befitting arithmetic to data dissemination is filtrate, and is improved in this dissertation. The dissertation also introduces the concept, theory and method of digital watermarking technology and research several different approaches to realize digital watermarking. Base on this work, a method based on wavelet in which the digital watermarking can be inset and extraction is actualized to prepare for actual application. In the last, the content of the whole dissertation is summarized and a brief expectation for work is mentioned.
