With the development of the Spaceflight Remote Sensing technology, the means and capability of RS images acquisition have improved rapidly. Different sources of RS image are applied to different objects with their own characteristic, so there is limitation for each type of RS images. The updating of RS images information takes advantage of multi-resource RS images data through process of integration, colligating the merits of different images data to produce new images data. By this way, the application area of new data is enlarged, and the information and analysis precision is improved for the new images. Several types of key technologies are researched in this paper. The research work of this paper can be divided into following parts:(1) To improve RS images quality, several kinds of pretreatment means are studied in this paper.(2) The methods of match and rectification of updating images are described. The image rectification arithmetic based on tiny face is realized after two types of common arithmetic of images rectification are depicted.(3) The local images substitution among different resource RS images are implemented to remove cloud covering effect on RS images. Using color balance methods, the color gap after local images substitution is cleared up with good experimental results.(4) The fusion methods of RS images information updating are discussed. Based on IHS transform, PCA transform, wavelet transform, three types of arithmetic for multi-resource RS images fusion are realized. Two types of combined arithmetic -IHST and WT, PCAT and WT are studied. The capability of three groups of fusion arithmetic is evaluated with the experiments data:①Based on IHST, PCAT and WT fusion methods;②Based on IHST, WT, WT and IHST combining fusion methods;③Based on PCAT, WT, WT and PCAT combining fusion methods.
