Abstract/Summary:
In recent years, the rule of sandstones distribution is a hot topic in the oil reservior field, and is a higher request that the oil and gas development proposes to reservoir research. But current research work is mainly based on the sandstones' microscopic anisotropism and the macroscopic anisotropism. Research methods are nerve network technology and oil well logging restraint inversion technology and so on. These research techniques have obtained better effect in the practical application, but still exist much deficiency, need to use other method to study the rule of sandstones distribution.This paper proposed to use fractal interpolation to study the rule of the sandstones distribution. It provided more technical support from the brand-new angle for the oil and gas exploration and development. Firstly, this paper introduced fractal theory and fractal interpolation method, introduced the fractal interpolation curved surface with emphasis; Secondly, the paper described fractal characteristic of sandstones distribution, analized and proved the feasibility that fractal interpolation method was used to study sandstones distribution, as well as the research technical route with this method. Mainly used three dimensional fractal interpolation to make the plane unfolds and three dimensional unfolds. Finally, the paper analyzed sandstones natural characteristic of Taiyuan Formation in Tarbamiao Block, as well as investigated and researched the massive literature. Used geology, core and log data to study the nature of Taiyuan Formation reservoir and used fractal interpolation method and computer software to make the natural plane and three dimensional unfolds of Taiyuan Formation reservoir. Summarized Taiyuan Formation reservoir characteristic and the distribution rule, and established three-dimensional model which basically reflected characteristic of Taiyuan Formation reservoir. This will provide the the basic data for the next step of exploration.
