Huoshaoshan oil field is kind of fractured and low-permeability oil reservoir. Its ability of produce is unsatisfied in the initial stages of exploration. And the phenomenon of watered out and water channeling is very severe in the process of exploration. Its output also decreases by degrees. The exploration practices of Huoshaoshan and other oil fileds indicate that the key of exploring oil field in reason and economically is understanding the geologic characteristics of oil reservoir, then the technique policy accorded with the characteristics of oil field can be established. The main reason that result in unsatisfied exploring effect of Huoshaoshan oil field is abundant fracture in reservoir. So understanding the geologic characteristics of oil reservoir is the key to maintain production of Huoshaoshan oil field, and the key also includes understanding the characteristics of fracture in reservoir and taking corresponding measure.To improve the status of exploration and enhance the ultimate recovery, we must gain cognition about the geologic characteristics of fractured oil layer and flow in exploration, then the contradiction of exploration in vertical surface can be solved by the profile control the water plugging and separated layer water-flooding, and efficient path to governing fracture can be found, improving exploration effect can also be achieved.Directing towards the research for the geological and producing characteristics, this paper has completed the following researching work: (1)Four pore types has been achieved through the rearrangement and analysis of the mercury injection data for the one hundred blocks of cores and the data for the eighty one blocks of casting lamella. The index has revealed that the capabilities of the reservoir for the storage and the percolation is terribly bad. The intrusive mercury curve has shown the traits of the fewness for the fracture characteristics and flow pores and the lowness of the imbibition recovery rate. (2)The research has been made for the subdivision of the sedimentary facies. This conclusion is that sedimentary system H1-H32 has the traits of the fan-delta facies; H1-H32 has the traits of the mini-river-delta facies; the deposition is complex and the microfacies change is great for the subzone; seven types of subfacies and twelve types of microfacies have been compartmentalized depending on the analysis of the litho-electric characteristics sedimentary structure mono-layer thickness particle size and the clastic content. The typical microfacies pictures of the twenty-six subzones among the twenty-eight subzones from the layer H1 to the layer H4 have been drawn. (3)The research for the fractures has been deepened.
