Non-diffraction beam, which with the character that it propagates finite distance without change of its transverse intensity distribution. Axicon is one of the most efficient elements to generate Non-diffraction beams. First the non-diffraction beams' character that generated by axicons with different open angles are simulated by computer. The numerical simulation result is compared with the experimental data. The maximum distance, diameter of the central spot and the transverse intensity distribution that obtained by both ways are mainly discussed. The Bessel-Gauss resonator is set up to study the Bessel-Gauss beam. The data of pulse non-diffraction beams based on high stability ARR Nd:YAG Q-switching laser is measured. Three methods arc worked out to solve the problems that encountered in the experiment. The precise laser spot measurement based on film-scanning proves to be innovative and excellent in measuring ultra-shot-pulse and tiny spot.
