ErZhongXiBaDao Bay group reservoir in karamay field is a structural hydrocarbon reservoir, whose south and north are broken by southnorth fault of black oil hill, presenting a brachy anticline along westeast. Reservoir lithology is mainly composed of sandstone ranged from middle style to grit stone and peddled sandstone. The average viscosity of dead crude oil at 50℃ on surface is 101mPa.s, and the corresponding density is 0.91g/cm3.This reservoir was put into full waterflood production in March,1986. Due to high oil viscosity, and the reservoir is heavy heterogeneity, before long the reservoir fell into the middle-water cut stage in the second year of the production. As the production went on, the contradiction between layers and planes became more serious, waterflooding efficiency is low, water cut ratio raised quickly, but recovery is still low, the production efficienccy is not satisfying. Until June,2005, the ratio of total oil produced to OOIP is only 13.9%, composite water cut has amounted to 86.7%.For knowing the reservoir characteristics better, improving production efficicency of this reservoir, In this paper I made full use of geology, coring, well logging .testing and producing data, applying new technologies and new ways of reservoir engineering to conduct research on aspects such as subzone classification and correlation, sedimentary microfacies, microtectonics, the quantification analysis of logging formation parameter, reservoir random geologic modelling, reservoir heterogeneity and reservoir properties distribution, set up fine isochron stratigraphic framework of four sand bodies and twenty-four subzones, described the top microstructures characteristics of the subzones; and concluded that sedimentation type of most sandstone bodies bearing oil is braided channel-grit stone formation and braided channel-fine sand formation. By normalizing logging data, I established a logging interpretation model of reservoir porosity, permeability, shale content parameters, on the basis of which the logging data of the whole sixty-three wells were processed. By applying phase controlling random modelling, the porosity, permeability 3D geologic models were developed. All these work help people further understand the heterogeneity characteristics and oil-bearing sandstone distribution of the key formation eight52, which will prompt to improve the production efficiency of the alike reservoirs.
