Mapinfo Network Model Expansion

With the development of computer science and geographical information science,more and more needs are required to the GIS(geographical information system).The GISis applied in areas of city transportation pipeline network,electricity,telecommunication etc.The network analysis is needed.MapInfo which is used widely in computer mapping is one of the famous GIS software in the world,but its spatical nanlysis functions is very weak.The successful network analysis needs a simple of network model.I program the model of network analysis and add it to MapInfo,realizing the function based on MapInfo.The base of mathematical on the network model is studied from the mathematical in this paper firstly.Then the network model of the object is constructed and network model and the system of analysis function are summarized.On the base of graph theory,geographical network is refined from the complicate relation in the reality, geographical network model is constructed,and shortest path algorithm in network analysis is relized.Last,the author brings out the network model and analysis component on the system of component about MapInfo.
