Flow Characteristics of Deionized Water in Microtubes is not only the important content of hydromechanics, but also can afford the theory gist to the developing of the Micro Electro Mechanical System (MEMS). For the meaning to theory and technology, this paper will introduce a series of experimental studies around the motif of the Characteristics of liquid flowing in Microtubes. The next part is the preparative work of the whole experimental study. In this part we measure the exact value of inner diameters and the roughness of inner surface of microtubes, and by the result, the effect to the experiment of the roughness of inner surface of microtubes can be excluded. Then we research the flow Characteristics of deionized water in microtubes with inner diameters of 2.32μm, 6.42μm, 10.22μm, 15.95μm, 20.38μm and 50.0μm. The experimental results show:(1). The flow characteristics of the microtubes with inner diameters of 10.22-50um agree well with the traditional macro flow mechanics both in the relation between pressure and flow rate and the relation between f×Re and Re in experiment and theory. (2). In the 6.42μm microtube, both the relation between pressure and flow rate and the relation between f×Re and Re, the experimental values and theoretical values deviate from each other in the range 14%--31%, but not vary obviously. (3). In the 2μm microtube, the warp is vary remarkable.Next, use the co2 as the pressure source and do the experiments in the microtubes with inner diameters of 50μm, 20μm. The experimental results show: both the relation between pressure and flow rate and the...
