The fish swimming is a complex hydrodynamic problem, and it contains profound hydrodynamic mechanism. By understanding it thoroughly, we can get not only some elicitation of underwater vehicles and aircraft designing, but also help for the solving of some practical problems of engineering, such as improving the propelling efficiency of underwater vehicles and decreasing the drag of airplane with swing wing. In the paper, we have simulated the two-dimensional and three-dimensional unsteady flow field of swimming fish with numerical method and researched the propelling mechanism of fish swimming with flexuous swing, namely the way of vortex controlling. The two-dimensional and three-dimensional moving model of fish with flexible deforming are built in the paper. The process of fish swimming is unsteady viscous hydrodynamic problem, so we design the solving programs of two-dimensional and three-dimensional unsteady viscous flow field. Navier-Stokes Equations is used as the flow governing equations. The structured grids are generated using transfinite interpolation and the method of deforming grid. Baldwin-Lomax turbulence model is implemented. The space discretization of Navier-Stokes Equations is carried out with finite volume method and...
