A scheme for generating cluster state with four-level atoms is proposed. Thescheme uses four-level atom interacting dispersively with a field. Two states of onequantum bit are denoted by two ground states |g> and |g'>, quantum informationis written on the ground states |g> and |g'>. Comparing with other scheme whosecluster states are denoted by metastable states or excited states, our cluster statesare more stable. In addition, the atomic transitions are largely detuned with thecavity modes, the ground state is populated only and excited state is not populated,so atomic spontaneous emission is neglectable. |
