Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is a new technique for imaging livingtissue. OCT has the capability of optical sectioning images of biological tissue innoninvasive way. OCT has demonstrated its great potential in medicine. However, thetraditional OCT has the limitation of low imaging speed and low transverse resolution.High-resolution Full Field OCT (FFOCT) will overcome these disadvantages. At first, the principle of OCT and the basic theory of FFOCT are introduced inthis paper. Then the principle of imaging and the construction of the high resolutionFFOCT are analyzed in detail. Especially, the principle of Koehler illumination isillustrated detailed. The CCD is studied deeply and the way of how to improve theprecision of detecting is discussed. Besides, phase shifting interferometry isintroduced and the four-step algorithm is applied, in addition, the PZT is also studiedand the images of simples are rebuilt with the way of wave-front fitting. Finally, basedon these theories, the whole FFOCT system, including mechanism, optics andcomputer software is designed, and experiments have demonstrate validity of thesystem and obtain aim of studying.
