The multi-damage powers of the thermobaric explosive was estimated. Blast field and temperature field were analyzed as an importance. The peak overpressure, impulse, and its positive pressure time vs scaled distance fitting curves of blast wave and TNT,△pm0.742is0.258, and impulse equivalent have been obtained. The damage effective field of thermobaric explosive was evaluated. The damage radiuses of a series of charge mass were obtained by the fitting curves, and the TNT damage field equivalent were calculated. The experiments indicated that the thermobaric explosive has stronger overpressure, impulse and damage power than TNT. The initial velocity and damage distance of the fragments were calculated. Many theory basis were prepared for latter investigation. The thermobaric explosive has much higher fireball temperature than TNT, and the temperature of the fireball of thermobaric explosive is 2601.9K. The thermal damage field is 20% bigger than TNT. The thermal damage equivalent was suggested. The TNT thermal damage equivalent is about 1.2. According to many damage radiuses obtained using diversified damage principles, the overpressure damage and thermal damage are proved to be the main damage modes. The multi-damage evaluation and estimation system were established in this paper.
