The quasi-phase-matched(QPM) technology is a phase-matched technology which can get high efficiency of non-linear frequency change.lt have many unique advantages, Such as, it is able to use the largest element of the x2 tensor in nonlinear photics crystal, can be agile designed, phase matched without walk-off angle, use large size crystal and frequency transform in small power. In the past few years, diode-pumped solid-state lasers have been developing quickly, this provide an ideal pump source for it. So all-solid-state pumped QPM frequency conversion have been becoming the researching focus presently. This paper was mostly based on the high efficiency qusia-phase-matched optical frequency change technology, a high performance operating temperature tuned PPMgLN-OPO was realized.The main content of this paper was list as follow.Firstly, the developing history and research meaning of nonlinear transform technology based on quasi-phase-matched(QPM) was introduced. And explained particularly the production, assorting and developing current of periodically poled crystal material, the effect of new crystals vs nonlinear transform technology was forecasted. The research meaning of optical parametric oscillator(OPO) and periodically poled crystal optical parametric oscillator was introduced simply.Secondly, the principle of quasi-phase-matched(QPM) technology and it's advantage, disadvantage, research focus and future prospects were all introduced, the effect of quasi-phase-matched(QPM) technology playing in generation of THz was mostly pointed out.Thirdly, the allowable parameter of quasi-phase-matched(QPM) SHG in single period and fan-shaped periodically poled crystal was analyzed. The calculate formula between allowable parameters and wavelength of basic frequency was deduced. Allowable parameters included angle, polarization period and temperature. The relative curve between allowable parameters and wavelength of basic frequency was drawed.Finally, temperature-tuned signal-resonanted quasi-phase-matched optical parametric oscillator was accomplished and studied in the experiment. The corresponding signal output range is from 1.561μm to 1.672μm. And the signal output power property was analyzed.
