Along with the development of reach, reachers have found that the 3D information of the welding pool is better to indicate the condition of the welding, 3D Shape Measurement of the welding pool is concerned much more. Although 3D Shape Measurement of the welding pool is significant, the hotness,brightness and specular surface of the welding pool make the 3D Shape Measurement very difficult. And the corresponding reach and develop is little, in addition, the existing system of the Measurement of the welding pool is too sophisticate and expensive to be applied far and wide. Therefore, it is significant to build a 3D Shape Measurement of weld pool which is made up of ordinary and un-expensive components.Phase 3D sensing is appropriate to measure the dynamic surface due to its no-touching when Phase 3D sensing is used. When the grating is casted on the weld pool surface, measure mistake will happen because of the high background light. How to restrain the arc plasma become the key. Compared with arc plasma, the grating is high-spatial-frequency distribution, and it can be acquired by spatial-filtering. The research on spatial spectrum analysis and information extraction of the high-spatial-frequency object with the strong background light is essential to 3D sensing of welding pool.The difference of the arc and the grating stripe in the spectrum coordinates and the frequency coordinates is respectively analyzed. The filtering system is reached.Associated with filtering system, the system of the 3D Shape information Measurement of the welding pool is primarily built. The legible images of the welding pool are captured.The gray distributing of the images of the welding pool is analyzed. The image processing is made on these images and the edge is abstracted.The influence to the 3-D Shape information Measurement of the welding pool of the join of the filtering system is primarily discussed: the join the spatial filtering system makes the optical axis of the camera system is vertical to the reference plane, makes the upper data processing simpler, create the advantage for the 3-D Shape information Measurement of the welding pool.
