Shenzhen City Landscape Pattern And Driving Forces

As the area of rapid urbanization, the landscape pattern of Shenzhen had a great change in the passed 25 years. There is an important significance for choosing this city as the study area in the paper. Base on RS and GIS technology, the landscape pattern, dynamic change in the rapid urbanization area of Shenzhen were analyzed from 1978 to 2005 through Quantitative indicators and the transfer matrix. At the same time, the drive force of landscape pattern in Shenzhen was studied from 1978 to 2005 through the multi-level analysis and the Changes of intensity. Especially the study of driving force in subareas. By the calculation of Synthesize host component value of society economy factor in 25 areas, explaining Shen Zhen driving force intensity difference. At the same time, applying clustering method breaks up Shen Zhen into four areas and analyzing the main driving factors in the four areas. The major objective is that revealling landscape pattern change law in different dimension and different intensity region.This research shows that, the landscape features of Shenzhen had been undergoing profound changes from 1978 to 2005. The city has changed to urban landscape from a typical agricultural landscape. Farmland and urban construction land area of the shift is the outstanding performance of this process. In addition to urban construction land and farmland, the change of garden plot and push no building land were very significant.Changes in the city's landscape pattern main driving force for population and economic growth, with the Shenzhen City landscape pattern changes related more notable is the main driving factor population, gross domestic product and investment in fixed assets.The driving force analysis for different socio-economic intensity region from 1995 to 2005 shows that: the main driving factor had difference in different intensity region. In the first intensity region, the driving factor was gross domestic product ; In the second intensity region, the driving factor was retail sales of consumer goods and investment in fixed assets; In the third intensity region, the driving factor was gross domestic product; In the fourth intensity region, the driving factor was gross output value of industry and gross output value of agriculture. Besides, in different intensity regions, the relation between driving factors and main types of landscape was different and the affect region of driving factors has changed.
