Xiaermen Oilfield is located on the east of Miyang sag, which is the second largest oilfield. The third member sandstones of the Hetaoyuan Formation are the main oil reservoir interval. This thesis is on the instruction of tectonic geology, reservoir sediment, petroleum geology and geostatistics. Using geology, geochemistry, geophysics and analyzed assay datum, the thesis studies the reservoir characteristic, such as structural evolution, depositional microfacies, and builds up the 3D reservoir model, which provides ensure for the development adjustment of remaining oil. Through the research mentioned above, the following results are achieved:(1) There are two provenances in the period ofⅠandⅡsub-member of the third member, according to the analysis on the sedimentology and the mark of depositional facies. One provenance is from the Houzhuang area in the northwest. On the other hand, the sediments from the eastern mountainous area compose some of the reservoir.(2) Two depositional systems are distinguished on the basis of the detailed observation and description of core, combining the well logging, areal geology and all kinds of analyzed assay datum. Houzhuang braid delta system developed on the northwest of the oilfield. At the same time, fan delta complex associated with gravity current system, were deposited in close proximity to the eastern mountainous area.(3) The analysis of the diagenesis is based on the technology of cast thin-section, scan electrical mirror and so on. The main diagenesis processes that have affected the sandstones include compaction, cementation and dissolution.(4) According to the compositive valuation of reservoir quality, the porosity and permeability are large, which are mainly controlled by the depositional microfacies. But the intrastratal anisotropy and interformational anisotropy are serious. (5) Adopting multi-information cooperation and stochastic modeling method, the 3D reservoir models are built up. Based on the distribution of the depositional microfacies and the sequential indicator simulation, the depositional microfacies model is built up. Utilizing the facies-controlled and sequential Gauss simulation method, the attribute parameter model is built up. At last, the original geological reserve is calculated.
