When we explore the slope by resistivity sounding,the abnormity of the sounding curvilinear by the slope hidden trouble.It is take much difficult to explain the resistivity sounding to explain the resistivity sounding date in the interest of realize the abnormity of the slope hidden trouble in the sounding curve. The paper to discuss and research the question by numerical simulation,and carry out the FEM to implement numerical modeling of resistivity sounding by ANSYS software. Then we compared it with the result of physics modeling.Firstly, the paper reviews the research actuality the topography influence in the prospecting of slope, and the forward research that people have done. It concluded the several kinds of methods in the electric sounding prospecting, and simply introduced the mostly function of ANSYS FEM program and the central steps in the processing of numerical modeling. The boundary value and variation equation of total potential on point source electrical field of geoelectric section were also introduced. To use the APDL language, which offered by ANSYS itself, we worked out corresponding computing program. In the typical theoretic slope model, we carried out a series of numerical modeling and found out the rule of topography influence in the prospecting of slope. It is compared by physics modeling. Secondly, we make the error analysis by the result of physics modeling and numerical modeling. Finally, we make a conclusion of the paper that has positive meaning in the practice work.
