Guizhou is a Karst mountainous province, it's terrain is rugged and land is breakable .Therefore, it's ultimately difficult to do land resources updating investigation. Based on the predecessors' work, Human computer interactive interpretation technology,comeputer and MAPGIS 6.6 have been applied to interpret the research region Xifeng with SPOT5 remote sensing images which proportion are 1 to 10,000 .After the interpretation, the field investigation have been done. At last, the region's land-use updating investigation database was constructed by MAPGIS. Some conclusions can be drew as follows:(1) By interpretation research, it give the advice about how to improve the accuracy of human computer interactive interpretation technology, that is to solve the four problems in the interpretation process at present.Firstly,it should establish an unified interpretation indication ; Secondly, it's need the comprehensive training ; Thirdly,it needs to solve conflicts between the internal interpretation and field investigation process; Fourthly,it's lack of special funds.This paper analyzed every problem, at last it discussed how to solve them. At the same time, in order to improve the interpretation's accuracy, it deeply researched the mistaken interpretation parts and the missed parts at the interpretation process of Xifeng remote sensing images , it improved the accuracy of interpretation. It selected one hounded spots randomly along a road of Luwo to do check.There are 93 spots interpretated corredtly.The accuracy of the interpretation is 93%.(2).The field investigation regions are Luwo town of XiFeng and Xifeng county.The science order about how to do investigation was made out. At the same time, it pointed out two keys about field investigation.First, based on the map, the core of the investigation is the marks which were marked in indoor interpretation process and the parts with shadow;Second, the core of the investigation is changed things (The added and changed land use types) and special land types which including cemeteries, churches, schools and so on.(3) By using the interpretation result which has high accuracy rate, with MAPGIS and it's Land use Information System, it constructed the land-use updating investigation database of Xifeng. It validated the interpretation results which are according to the constructed the database request.The Human Computer Interactive Interpretation technology is feasible.
