Grade - Tonnage Model Analysis Of China's Mississippi Valley-type Lead-zinc Resource Potential

The key of this thesis is to establish grade and tonnage model of Mississippi Valley-type(the type of MVT) Pb-Zn deposit,then apply this model to north-west of Guizhou to assess potential mineral resources.This thesis is divided into several steps as followed:First of all,The author has collected and examined the database of 168 Mississippi Valley-type(MVT) of the whole country,based on "the Mineral Resources Date Base of the Whole Country".the fields included name of the mining areas,longitude,latitude,metallogenic type,grade,tonnage,measured reserve,etc.Then some models will be established,which included frequency histogram,scatter,test of normality,etc.At last,the grade model and tonnage model will be established.Secondly,the model will be used in north-west of Guizhou,Where there are good metallogenic conditions and tectonic conditions,most places have ore occurrences of Pb-Zn.Forthermore the area is metallogenic province of Sichuan-yunnan-guizhou,which is the favorable mine belt.The information of 1:20 0000 geochemical exploration displayed that have large strength surface shape abnormal.the rock association of ore-hosted rocks are dolomite,clayed dolomite and shale,which have a good metallogenic condition and material migration channel and spatial of storage mine.All those proved this area have a big mineral prospecting potential of Pb-Zn deposits.At last,the result will be obtained by the software of Mineral Resources Assessment System,so it is easy to see there are wonderful potential of mineral resources in Northwest of Guizhou.The potential regions of Mississippi Valley-type(MVT) Pb-Zn deposit in north-west of Guizhou have been delined,88 optimal prospective areas were selected out with 30 of class A,18 of Class B and 40 of Class C.Total resources are 651.335Mt,estimated by grade-tonnage Monte Carlo Simulation method.
