Education is always regarded as the power of the individual development and social progress.Teacher is the most important aspect in the area of education and their education ability plays an important role in the development of social.In the background of the specialization of teacher's vocation,the reform of curriculum,and the social raising high demands to teachers once again,how will the education curriculum develop to adopt this new situation becomes a realistic and pressing problem.Therefore,doing research about the current situation,the existing problems and how to carry out the reform has a certain practical significance.Therefore, in this paper, current situation of educational curriculum in normal school is firstly analyzed, problems are found out and deep-seated causes are excavated.Then new ideas about the reform of education curriculum are reestablished, and the concrete program of the educational curriculum is raised.This paper is made up of five parts.Part one is the preface, which present the background, theoretical basis and total design of the research.Part two analyzes the demands which the new situation has raised to the education curriculum settings of Normal School, concluding the demands from specialization of teacher's vocation, the reform of curriculum and the free of charge in teacher education to the biology teachers in middle schools.Part three is the survey and research about the current situation of the education curriculum settings in the pedagogic specialty of biology of normal school in China. Firstly,it compares the curriculum plans of 12 normal schools,and analyzes the characteristics of current situation in contemporary normal school.Secondly,through the questionnaire survey, it finds out feedback and expectations of reform form the students in normal school and biology teachers in high school.Thirdly, through visiting and talking to president,the group leaders of biology course and teachers in normal school,it obtains their opinions about the education curriculum.Combining the results of the survey this three parts,from the terms of course content,course structure and practical course,it analyses sums up the current situation and the direction and specific content of reform.Part four puts forward the suggestions, new ideas about the reform and concrete program. On the basis of the principles of education curriculum reform and the existing problems in normal school, some suggestions are raised, the ideas of education curriculum are reestablished, and a new concrete program of the educational curriculum is building.Part five analyzes several issues which we should pay attention to briefly in the process of our high professional division of biology education curriculum reform.
