The distribution of ground fissure disaster of loess is very intensive in Sanyuan district.Its destruction is evident to all. Especially the cracks in the piedmont of northern mountain whose causees are complex and varied,In fact, are also the synthetical effects under a variety of factors. By the study of the geological background analysis and the spatial distribution, profile features and time characteristics of the cracks, analyse the specific factors of formation of the cracks, and on the basis of these , discuss the cause formation mechanism of the cracks.First of all, through-the-spot investigation, and on-site visit to the trenching, exploration wells, Ping-dong, and so on, reveals the two-county Sanyuan Sophora village to the development characteristics of the cracks. On this basis, the choice to have a crack through the loess sites on-site test pit water testing, and cracks on the loess zone of infiltration and deformation characteristics of a system test and in-depth study of theoretical analysis.Secondly, through the analysis of survey data and research on the causes of the cracks were made to a certain degree of analysis, and leading and influencing factors are analyzed.
