In addition to be used for navigating and precision positioning, the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) is as well extensively applied in precision orientation. The emphasis is the orientation technique based the satellite navigation system; the main contents of the thesis generalize as follows:The paper at first takes GPS as an example to give it's basic constitute and the principle, laid equal stress on introducing GPS difference carrier phase measurement model and linearity combination, and give them each of characteristics. Detailedly introduced various errors of double difference carrier phase measurement of short baseline,Introduce the basic principle and mathematics model of the GPS orientation. Deduced GPS orientation accuracy formula. From the result statistics, the orientation accuracy in direct proportion to the baseline length, but after the baseline attains certain length, increasing again an exaltation of length to accuracy to have no actual meaning, but can improve the stability. To the orientation accuracy and the measure time research indicated: the orientation accuracy along with measure the increment of time to rise gradually, but when measure of time attain for an hour after, orientation accuracy tends gradually in stability. Researching the relationship between different solution way and orientation accuracy can we know, The L1,L2 , Ln solution's orientation accuracy higher, but Lc, Lw solution are worse.The paper calculated several baseline of ballistic missile battlefield with GPS and astronomy and compared the results respectively, from these analysis's can we know, for the short baseline orientation, influence the orientation accuracy's bigger factor is multipath delay,antennas phase center error and point measurement error, coordinate conversion error can be neglect.The paper studied orientation in emergency to shoot battlefield ballistic missile mobile, deduce the formula that get the baseline length according to the orientation accuracy request, and get the length according to different military tactics accuracy according to this formula. Then made use of actually data to make a compare, then also prove the validity and reliability of the formula. Introduced the fast positioning and orientation software that programed by us, and made some testing, proved that its orientation accuracy is slightly better than general software.Deduced the orientation mathematics model of single epoch orientation and the accuracy estimate formula of double star navigation, then making use of Matlab to simulate the relation between orientation accuracy and baseline length, epoch number, carrier phase measurement error, length measurement error, azimuth, elevation, geography position. On the single epoch orientation foundation, deduced the orientation mathematics model of single epoch and the accuracy estimate formula based on area navigation systems carrier phase measurement. Simulated the relation between orientation and length, carrier phase measurement error, azimuth, elevation. Simulated one baseline orientation results accuracy of 1 day in a place, and simulated a baseline in an area orientation with double star navigation system and area system, and find that the accuracy in area system is higher than the orientation in souble star navigation system.
