Optical Coherent Tomography (OCT) is a kind of imaging techniques developing rapidly in recent years, which detects the back-reflected signal of different depth and level in tissue based on the basic principle of low-coherence light source, and obtains the image of tissue structure through scanning. As a new kind of optical diagnostic technique, OCT can perform non-contact and non-invasive imaging of living tissue. In this paper, the system and characteristics of the rapid-scanning delay line for high-speed OCT imaging are investigated. First the basic principle and arrangment as well as the main parts of an OCT system are described. Second, the advantanges and disadvantanges of various high speed scanning delay devices are analysand, with the emphasis on the basic elements, principle, scanning properties and set up of the experimental and so on of the frequency domain rapid scanning delay line, Third, drive circuit of optical scanner in detail is discussed intensively and more research is done on overall structure of drive circuit. Every output and input signal of a circuit is illustrated in detail, in the end, the experimental device is set up and modulated and the property of fast scanning delay line from the perspective of experiment is studied.
