In 1934 J.Leray raised the question of the existence of existence of self-similar solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations. For a long time,self-similar so-lutions had appeared to be good candidates for constructing singular solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations. At the same time, many workers are employed in self-similar solutions of mathematical research, has also made many excellent results. This article briefly describe the research process from the self-similar solu-tions of the Navier-Stokes equations and some important results. This first chapter describes the development of self-similar solution of the Navier-Stokes equations process and prior knowledge. The second chapter describes the Navier-Stokes equations from the self-similar solution under certain conditions, the existence and uniqueness and the non-existence under some conditions. The third chapter of this article has gone before the completion of the problems and the results of our work. The final chapter we summarize and prospect.
