The new method of plasticity based on e-p curve has obvious advantage over the current method. For example, it has clear thought, and its solving procedure is more concise than that of the classical theory method. This article is based on the new method as the theoretical foundation, and it discussed one numerical computational methods of the new method-Finite Element Method and calculated examples about some typical problems about the theory of plasticity. This article researched several parts as following:(1) Based on bulk of documentation, the history of development and the situation of study have been summarized, the basic thought of Finite Element Method and analyzed its advantages have been introduced.(2)Nonlinear Finite Element Method is the major part of numerical calculation. Types of nonlinear problems was firstly introduced, then the solving steps of finite element analysis were specifically summarized, according to iterative method and hybrid method, their basic theory, solution procedure and rapidity of convergence have been particularly discussed.(3) Conception of yield condition and several frequently-used yield criteria have been firstly introduced, then fundamental principles and physical interpretations and solution methods of the new theory of plasticity have been intensively explained. Specific solution procedure of Finite Element Method of the new plasticity theory, which based on e-p curve, have been illustrated.(4)Two typical examples have been calculated in the application of Finite Element Method of the new plasticity theory:cantilever beam and plane plate.(5) MATLAB language has been introduced in this article for the computational complexity of Finite Element Method in practice. Simple program has been compiled and debugged as for the plane plate example.
