Tellurium copper alloy( C14500) is a kind new materials of copper alloy.The bars maed of tellurium copper have good cutting property, high conductivity and thermal conductivity,and good corrosion resistance. As a result, it was widely used in the filed of making component with high conductivity, thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance in developed countries such as Europe and Japan.Based on the copper tube and bar of production line in Jiangxi Copper Corporation, we expected to find an effective production technology through studying tellurium copper bar ofΦ25mm. In addition, the quality of products must meet the advanced levels which required in USA's standards about C14500. So, with the technology, we may development production line which mass to produce tellurium copper bars. Therefore, it willgraetly inprove technical storage and strengthen competition abilities. The study results show that:1.In the semi-continuous casting process,it casts Surface quality Chemical composition of the bar come up to the C14500 alloy of America by the Cooling water pressure is 0.22 ~0.25MPa,T2 mold,Casting speed is 110~140mm/min.2. Conductivity and strength of the C14500 alloy are little effect by the cool condition,and it has good Cold performance.With the increased processing rate, the strength of the C14500 alloy being increased, the elongation become reduction.3. Tellurium copper alloy C14500 finished product has a good cutting performance.4. C14500 conductivity tellurium copper alloy severely affected by the impact of phosphorus content, and with the phosphorus content increases. Therefore, phosphorus content should be strictly controlled in the smelting process5.The experiments of corrosion in the NH4Cl solution showed that anti-corrosion properties of Cu-Te alloys increases with the contents of Te increase and the corrosion rate of them were lower than the pure copper.
