Joining mechanism of the mechanically deposited coating, the main affect factors of coating quality and mechanical plating process are introduced in this paper.Many research results are explained in the mechanical plating equipment. The key design points and quality characteristics of mechanical plating equipment are pointed out by using a new Quality Function Deployment or QFD method.The key design points and problems of mechanical plating equipment are roundly analyzed by using Theory of Inventive Problem Solving or TRIZ. Three design projects on the mechanical plating equipment are constituted by this new method. These projects are analysed and estimated by the Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation or FCE.Excellent and bad of this projects are listed and arranged according to the most subject degree.The best of this projects,that is the mechanical plating equipment of roller structure is pointed out.The mechanical plating equipment is designed.Its platen or plating cask can moved around self axes and level axes at the same time. By the help of academic analysis and some old experiment results, this mechanical plating equipment can meet the technical specification completely.In allusion to different roller form and speed of the mechanical plating equipment,the movement and energy of beading medium are simulated and analyzed by the three dimensional discrete element or PFC(Particle Flow Code)3D software. The results indicated that the quadrate and circular form are not perfect roller structure,hexagonal roller structure is better, octagonal roller structure is best.It is best perfect to the movement and energy of beading medium in octagonal roller at 30r/min rotate speed. It is accordant to compare these simulative results to old mechanical plating results.Besides,the movement and energy of two different beading medium in octagonal roller are simulated and analyzed. The results indicated that the movement energy of this beading medium are increased at at 30r/min rotate speed.It is much advantageous to obtain mechanical plating coating of good quality. It is too accordant to compare these simulative results to the method of improving mechanical plating coating by using mix beading medium in practice mechanical plating process.The above results indicated that it is successful and valuable to design the mechanical plating equipment or to study new mechanical plating process by using this new method.Besides, the dynamics problems of beading medium and metal Zinc powder are discussed in this paper.Some correlative account formulas or parameters are first pointed out or computed. These are valuable to study the mechanical plating equipment and process.
