In our country, at present, the production of alumina is ranked the second in the world, the production of aluminum by electrolysis had jumped to the first in the world aluminum stuff is also close to reach the world's first level Aluminum primary production methods for aluminum-melting cryolite (Hall-Heroult electrolysis) which have to product alumina from bauxite in the production process But aluminum can be direct product buy carbonthermic reduction which can reduce production cost.This Paper proceed from the thermodynamic calculation of alumina carbothermic reduction reaction of the system which reaction may occur and the reaction temperature There are lots of experiments which study the influence from reaction times, the type of reducer and the reaction ratio Ultimately we successful obtain aluminum which have high purity and Particle size larger at the bottom of reaction crucible in condition of at atmospheric and confirm best experimental Parameters for aluminum form alumina carbothermal reduction:argon gas as protection air in atmospheric conditions, alumina and coal mass ratio of 3:1 (mass percentage of silicon dioxide as 3.45%), the heating electricity of 550A, the reaction time was 60min.
