Clothing To Huayao Characterization - The Yunnan Huayaodai Huayao Yi Fashion Art Deco Comparative Study

Living in the central areas of Yunnan Province,two groups Huayaodai and Hua yaoyi, are attracting the attention of scholars home and abroad with their unique national cultures and the art of national costumes, and the study on Huayao Culture is booming rapidly. With the long historical development, Huayaodai and Hua yaoyi as the branches of Dai nationality and Yi nationality, who live close, whose life style and pattern of agricultural production system of rice are very similar, created their own national costumes which are very different from other branches in costumes plastic structure and decorative art, and formed ethnic costumes and decorative art with its own characteristics under the influence of the traditional national culture, the ethnic cultures and foreign cultures.Based on Fashion Design, Ethnology and other scientific theory, the article studies decorative art and their inherent culture of Huayaodai and Huayaoyi. The author have been to investigate Xinping Yi and Dai Autonomous County where Huayaodai live together and Shiping, Yunnan Province where Hua yaoyi live together, extensively collect the historical data and material objects which are relevant to national costumes and their decorative art of Huayaodai and Hua yaoyi, and get the first-hand information. The author has a systematic exposition and research on their ethnic costumes and their decorative art in conjunction with the history and culture of Huayaodai and Hua yaoyi on the use of systems analysis method, inductive method, and comparative method and so on. The paper takes the artistic features and the ethnic cultural connotation of Huayaodai's and Huayaoyi's ethnic costumes and their decorative arts as the main objects of the study on the basis of brief elaboration of the history, culture and the costumes of the two minorities, deeply analyses the pattern, color, decorative craft, silver decoration, hair decoration, waist decoration of ethnic costumes, comprehensively analyses their ethnic costumes and their decorative art and ethnic culture information embedded in them, strives to explore the traditional ethnic culture, ethnic history and culture, religion, ethnic psychology, aesthetic consciousness Huayaodai's and Huayaoyi's ethnic costumes reflect. In the course of the study, the author studied comparatively the similarities and differences of the two ethnic decorative art, and further analyzed the effects the traditional ethnic culture, ethnic culture and cultural exchanges between nations have on their costumes decoration while combining with their distribution area, history and culture, and cultural exchanges.The paper relates to the fashion design, aesthetics, ethnology, folklore and other cross-disciplinary, with the research ideas and methods layer by layer, studies and expounds the ethnic costumes and their decorative arts of Huayaodai and Huayaoyi as systematically and comprehensively as possible. Take the above for an example, the article sums up the characteristics of the minorities in Yunnan Province abide tradition and blend with each other in the national culture and the ethnic costumes art, in the settlement pattern of big mixed, small communities.
