Surfactant and its blends flooding system are considered as the most promising method in the enhance oil recovery. However, the most restricted factor is the synthesis of new oil-displacement surfactant and the screening of applicable displacement agent. Simple synthesis process, low cost and high input-output ratio of surfactant are required in the EOR.This paper attempts to synthesize two series of anion-nonionic surfactants with the total number of six through the one pot method by the material of industrial AEO and TX. Their structure and composition are obtained by the IR and ESI-MS. The result reveals that the abundance polymerization degree of alcohol ethoxylates propane sulfonic acid and are 10,11, 16 and the abundance polymerization degree of nonylphenol ethoxylates propane sulfonic acid are 8,12,14. The y-LogC curves are obtained by the SFT data, and then CMC,γcmc,Γcmc, Acmc are obtained though the y-LogC curves and Gibbs equation. With the increasing of the hydrophobic group, the CMC and SFT increase and the surface activity reduces.The test on the surfactants and its oil-water interfacial tension with alkali, and other types of surfactants complex system shows that the individual surfactant system is unable to reduce the oil-water interfacial tension. However, the addition of alkali can change the oil-water interfacial tension between surfactant system and crude oil well. Low concentrations of nonylphenol ethoxylates sulfonic acid surfactant and alkali (1.0% or more, wt%) of the complex system can reduce the oil-water interfacial tension down to the ultra-low. The dynamic change of oil-water interfacial tension between surfactant and the binary system of alkali is also observed. To take the real sandstone of low permeability in Yanchang Oilfield as a model, by the Laboratorial simulation experiment of oil displacement on part of the surfactant system, the core-flooding displacement experiment reveals that the oil displacement efficiency can be promoted by more than 5% bases on displacement of oil by water under a combination of the fatty alcohol ethoxylates and sulfonated surfactants together with fatty alcohol diethanolamine 6501 and the complex system of alkali.A kind of zwitterionic gemini surfactant is synthesized as well and its structure is characterized by element analysis, IR and'H NMR. Meanwhile, its surface properties of the aqueous solutions and its steady-state fluoreseence properties in the aqueous solutions are also studied.
