The conductive fibre can be used in many areas. The textile product of it mainly has anti-static and anti-radiation function, and can be made into high-tech products such as intelligent garment, fabric sensor and so on.Thus it plays a very important role in fields of electric power, medicine, clothes, protection, biological sciences, aerospace and so on.In this paper, we choose polyester fibers for raw materials and prepare polyaniline/polyester composite conductive fiber with in-situ polymerization, exploring the influence of various technological conditions on the conductive properties of the fiber.The basic steps of in-situ polymerization are as follow:put the polyester fibers into aniline solution and keep for a period of time, make the fiber absorb a certain amount of aniline monomer.And then put it into the reaction liquid that contains oxidant and doping acid, so that aniline turns into polyaniline. The conductive properties of the fiber is depended on the oxidation degree of polyaniline and the doping reaction of the medium acid.When the numbers of the oxidation units and reduction units in the polyaniline macromolecular chain are roughly equivalent, the conductive properties of the fiber is best; Polyaniline can conduct electricity only when it is doped effectively by the medium acid. The effect of alkali treatment, soaking time, type and concentration of the oxidant, type and concentration of the doping acid, reaction temperature and reaction time on the conductive properties of the fiber were discussed emphatically. Through controlling the reaction conditions, we can make the polyester fiber absorb polyaniline effectively.Through the experiments, we can draw the conclusions as follow:(1) Polyester fibers can obtain excellent conductive properties with in-situ polymerization;(2)Oxidant concentration, doping acid concentration, reaction temperature and reaction time are the significant influence factor of the conductive properties of the fibers. Alkali treatment can improve the surface polarity of polyester fiber and the adsorption quantity of polyaniline effectively. (3) The optimum technological condition of preparing polyaniline/polyester composite conductive fiber with in-situ polymerization is obtained in the experiments:the concentration of (NH4)2S2O8:0.6 mol/L;the concentration of C7H8O3S:lmol/L;reaction time:2h;reaction temperature:15℃-25℃.
