This issue tracked Panzhihua iorn and steel (group) company (PZHISC) IF steel production.It is showed production of PZHISC IF steel that steelmaking process was unstable, RH continuous was low capacity, the carbon content and oxygen content after RH treatment fluctuated, and RH decarburization time was unreasonable, RH dealed with large amounts of carbon after decarburization. Collecting data on the production of IF steel after the standardization process, a mode was setted up dealing with IF steel in PZHISC RH decarburization. It played a guiding role for further reducing the carbon content of PZHISC IF steel.Research showed that the molten steel appropriate [C] and a [o] of PZHISC IF Steel were 0.030%~0.045%,(500~700)×10-6 before RH treatment,meanwile demarcated the carbon content and oxygen content changes in trends of the PZHISC steel RH Decarbonization of IF process.The results showed that the IF steel RH decarburization treatment of pre-5min the fastest rate, at 8min after the decarburization treatment the rate significantly slowing down, a small amount of oven time even by carbon increasing.when the processing time more than 16min after the decarburization,the rate has been very small. Different levels of IF steel should be used different decarburization time.IF2, IF3 finished relatively high carbon content,steel decarburization treatment time may be shortened by more than 1min. RH vacuum degree had a greater impact on VCD lowest end of the carbon content.RH vacuum degree in PZHISC IF steel production can reach 40Pa, but most times only furnace 100Pa.To produce lower carbon content of IF steel, it is recommended by strengthening monitoring and maintenance of equipment, etc., enhance the capacity of the exhaust treatment process in order to maintain a long enough time and the deep vacuum to further reduce the minimum vacuum;From the end of VCD to RH end,the carbon increasing in PZHISC of the range of carbon(0~12)10-6, the average carbon increasing is by 9×10-6.It is more than domestic and foreign manufacturers of similar high apparent.Recommendations PZHISC IF steel production process to ensure nodulation vacuum chamber is not under the premise of non-carbon lining,using of work packets and low-carbon steel alloy.At fully integrated IF PZHISC RH treatment of steel on the basis of process conditions, setting up the decarburization mathematical model Model takes into accounting the initial treatment add toner RH, pressure drop model of the impact of decarburization and to determine the appropriate process conditions in the PZHISC steel water volume calculation formula.Industrial validation tests showed that the use of the model prediction error value.of carbon at less than±8×10-6 ratio of 92.39%.Because of this model for off-line type, composition, weight and temperature of molten steel, slag oxidation ladle lining job, such as the carbon content of process conditions and parameters affected the accuracy of the model, especially the pressure drop model, steel water volume calculation formula and adding carbon calculation method a greater impact on model accuracy.
