The reaction of refinery mixed C4 hydrocarbons and ethanol was one of the effective ways to increase propylene yield. This thesis with the refinery mixed C4 hydrocarbon and ethanol as raw material, studied systematically the modified catalysts, the optimization of reaction conditions, the reaction mechanism, thermomechanics and kinetics. In this experiment, we studied the influence of HZSM-5 sieve Si-Al ratio on the reaction of mixed C4 hydrocarbon and ethanol, and selected the Si-Al ratio was 50. With Si-Al ratio 50 of HZSM-5 as the carrier, a series of different modified catalysts were prepared, selected catalytic activity of La-HZSM-5 and Mo-HZSM-5 zeolite catalyst, and studied the influence of calination temperature and modified materials on the performance of the modified catalyst, selected roast temperature was 400℃, the material content were 1%La-HZSM-5 and 2%Mo-HZSM-5.With La-HZSM-5 and Mo-HZSM-5 molecular sieve as a catalyst optimized process conditions, we studied the influence of reaction temperature, the ratio of the mixed C4 and ethanol and GHSV on mixed C4 hydrocarbon and ethanol reaction. The optimal conditions were:reaction temperature 400℃, the ratio of the mixed C4and ethanol 1:2, GHSV 123min-1. Under the optimum conditions, the reaction over La-HZSM-5, the C4 olefin conversion and propylene selectivity were 91.15% and 55.69%.Based on the mechanism of catalytic disproportionation, butene dimerization-cracking, isobutane and butene alkylation and 2-butene and ethylene disproportiona-tion, we proposed the reaction paths of mixed C4 hydrocarbon and ethanol reaction. The thesis come up with the main reactions and the major side reations, thermodynamic analysis of theirs, built the reaction net and built the lumped kinetics model.
