Aluminum electrolysis industry belongs to the enterprise of high energy-consuming profession, and how to save the energy consumption for cost control to the industry has been an important goal to electrolytic aluminum enterprises. Aluminum electrolysis process with low-voltage has been an effect research and development direction of the aluminum electrolysis from now on, which includes many advantages, such as the current efficiency improvement, electricity saving, and service life of aluminum extending and so on.Intensifying electrical current is an effective technology to improve the output and economic benefit of aluminum electrolytic. The aluminum production control with optimal energy is researched combined with the current strengthening theory, which is applied in the aluminum electrolysis of 400KA project in Henan Zhongfu industry successfully. The main work is totally about the low voltage control of the aluminum electrolysis with low voltage based on the regulation of the electrical polar distance. The development steps of the aluminum electrolysis control system are described in this dissertation. After the low voltage electrolytic production process, electrolytic temperature varying combined with voltage changing have been researched, the relations between the current efficiency and polar distance are achieved, and the effect of current strengthening to current efficiency is analysed. The process parameters such as polar distance is further measured to calculate a new round of experimental cell voltage balance, and a NN-PID controller to RC control technology is applied to reduce the voltage. Finally the integral electrolytic aluminum production network control technology is also researched, then the energy optimal control system of aluminum electrolysis is constructed by restricting the aluminum cell producing with low voltage, finally the energy saving and lower consumption in the aluminum electrolysis production is successfully achieved.This system has been put into the operation field in Zhongfu aluminum electrolysis plant about half a year, now the current intensity has been strengthened from 400kA to 412kA, and the setting voltage been changed from by 3.87 V to 3.80 V, tons of aluminum energy been 12483kwh/t, lower than the original with 400 KWH/t-Al. The purpose of lower energy consumption and equilibrium of the cell energy in aluminum production enterprise is achieved by aluminum electrolyze control with real-time optimal energy control.
