Currently,waste water pollution, especially Heavy metal sewage become sustained environmental hazards.The Rapid development of secondary battery industry make the situation even worse.Adsorption is one of the most efficient ways to treat heavy metal waste water, for its high efficiency, fast adsorption speed and good adaptability, etc. To find the appropriate adsorbent is the priority work in environmental heavy metal waste water control. As a new type of high efficiency adsorbent, ordered mesoporous carbon materials (OMC) has specific high BET surface area and pore volume, meanwhile its mechanical stability and thermal stability is excellent. OMC is easy to functionalization for its rich surface hydroxyl and is a quite promissing adsorbent.An ordered mesoporous carbon GMC-1000 and its Magnetic nanocomposite Fe-GMC-1000 was synthesized by template method using mesopores silica SBA-15 as template at 1000℃, fatty acids was introduced as new carbon precursor for the first time. After the removal of silica with NaOH, ordered mesoporous pure carbon (OMC) was obtained. X-ray diffraction (XRD), N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms (BET), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) showed that the OMC product had a highly ordered structure with a large pore size of 3.9nm, a pore volume of 0.891 cm3/g, and a high surface area of 924.7 m2/g.GMC-1000 were used as adsorbents for the adsorption of Cu(Ⅱ) Ni(Ⅱ),Co(Ⅱ),Pb(II) ions from the aqueous solution (25℃, PH=6.0). The saturation adsorption capacity on these irons achieved respectively 39.34 mg/g,10.74 mg/g,17.32 mg/g, 49.00 mg/g,which is better than former reports. The GMC-1000 exhibits the largest adsorption capacity than CMK-3, and the rapid adsorption capacity of graphitization GMC-1000 on Cu(Ⅱ) within 5minutes is much higher than CMK-3The GMC-1000 was subsequently functionalized with 3-APTES by treatment with toluene and nitrogen to obtain a functionalized ordered mesoporous carbon N-GMC-1000. N-GMC-1000 exhibits highly selectivitity on Cu(II) compared with other heavy metal irons.Sample N-GMC-1000 and Fe-GMC-1000 show excellent adsorption capacity of 44.56 mg/g and 35.62 mg/g on Cu(II) irons. Fe-GMC-1000 is easy to recycle from aqueous solution by magnetic separation.
