Control Technology. Hot Strip Rolling Plate-shaped Line

The strip steel is one of the most important products of iron and steel industry, and two indexes which decide the quality of strip steel are the accuracy of strip shape and thickness. With the efforts of several generations, thickness problem has been solved basically. Then the strip shape has become bottleneck to enhance the quality of strip steel. A lot of experts and scholars in the rolling field have researched the strip shape control problems for many years,and it promoted greatly the development of the theory of plate shape. Many new strip shape control technologies have been exploited in their research findings. However, there isn't a strip shape control technology which can solve the strip shape control problems drastically.In this paper, I researched a load distribution method—Фfunction load distribution which is the latest research result in the load distribution field, and verified its accuracy in the experiment. TheФfunction load distribution has many advantages which can be testified through comparison of the rolling force data between use and nonuseФfunction load distribution method, and it becomes the base of a model of strip shape online control. Professor Zhang Jinzhi invented the analytic shape stiffness theory and verified it by computer simulation. Although this theory has been used on American hot rolling mills,it doesn't catch the attention of rolling experts in our country. This treatise testified the analytic shape stiffness theory through using the American and Baosteel hot rolling data. On the basis of this theory, we build a new model of strip shape online control. This model puts the analytic shape stiffness theory into use successfully, and proves exactness from the angel of practice.The establishment of new strip shape online control model has provided a new strip shape control method for steel company. The model can be applied on both using and no-using strip shape control equipment rolling mills,and the sphere of application is very widely. It can improve the quality of strip shape evidently, and provides a less investment and high return strip shape control project for our country steel companies.
