In this paper, the rule of YEKE 4 High roller cold rolling mill for the study, using ANSYS / LS-DYNA software strip rolling by finite element simulation. For analysis of the cold rolling process, people often adopt analytical method, experimental method and numerical method. However, the analytical method can not accurately analyze the actual deformation process of metal, and experimental method is a kind of the approximation method with higher cost. Numerical method is the unique method which can analyze the entire rolling process accurately with a relatively low cost.For the numerical simulation of cold-rolled strip, two-dimensional model was adopted in the starting period, and focused on forming simulation on a single pass. The three-dimensional finite element simulation model was developed later, but its rolling rollers often used rigid models, which lead to roll elastic deformation. Roll elasticity is one of the most important factor of the final sheet quality. For cold-rolled strip of three-dimensional elastic-plastic finite element simulation, most of them are single-pass rolling. Multi-pass rolling appeared in recent years, some researches worked on multi-stand continuous rolling, the others reversible rolling. The data transfer of reversible process is achieved through the secondary development. This research summarizes and draws the experience. The paper adopted the elastic-plastic finite element method. In the simulation, elastic work roll is used, and tension is applied in the rolling process, and achieves a row reversible cold rolling process with seven times at most. The research steps further to the actual production process.The research establishes three kinds of analysis, including two times the rigid roller reversible cold rolling simulation, simple multi-pass simulation of reversible cold rolling process, and finally realizes the elastic work roll 7 plays reversible cold rolling simulation step by step. The paper calculates rolling force and compares it to the actual result of measurement to acquire relatively reasonable result.By calculating rolling node displacement during the rolling process, and the establishment process of the path, the research analyzes the metal flow rules in cold rolling, and verifies the edge thinning function of cold strip in rolling process. The paper, through the node displacement simulation in the thickness, discovers the result that node springback apparently since the fourth times and the edge of strip springback stronger than the other part. Therefore, the research suggests that the seven times of the cold rolling should be decreased to four or five times.
