Photoelectric separation technology is widely used in waste material detection and classification field, this technique can effectively increase the material quality and bring good social and economic benefits.Therefor there is very important practical significance to study the photoelectric separation system. After study domestic and international advanced technology based on sorting, this topic designs a kind of master-slave CPU control photoelectric separation system.in the separation syetem.Through analysising all agencies of the separation system and the factors which which influence material separation system, it gives appropriate solution, this paper focuses on the research and design the photoelectric separation system control system and the photoelectric detection detection system. In the control system of separation, this paper uses the ARM of the Lord as the control CPU in the whole system,DSP is used the association from CPU to complete photoelectric detection signal data operation.the constitute the separation system of twin CPU structure to complete separation system control function and data operation treatment, thereby this structure improve the entire system of signal control processing ability. In the photoelectric detection system, the thesis use material optical properties and light sensor CCD-array of high-definition high resolution imaging principle, which can accurately sort different materials. This paper uses linear CCD to acquire image data, and uses XSC40XL FPGA by Xilinx as the core controller and processor to provide parallel high-rate image data processing, thus the need of real-time can be satisfied. The results indicate that this method can greatly improve the sorting precision.
