As the impact of the financial crisis, the steel industry suffered unprecedented winter.Reducing the production cost to improve product quality has become the common pursuitof all steel plant. The principle of slag washing process is that, the slag washing materialswere put into the ladle when the converter was tapping, which would be melting andcombined with the inclusions in the steel rapidly, under the impact of molten steel, Thecombinations would speedy collide, aggregate, grow, float, discharge. Slag washingprocess can replace LF refining process about most of the aluminum killed steel and somesilicon killed steel smelting, not only can it reduce40yuan per ton, but also its wasteresidue of displacement is1/5LF refining process, Moveover it can reduce a lot of wastegas and dust, it can reduce the pollution of the environment.Therefore the ladle sampling study shows that, the main task is desulfurization in theamount of atmospheric agitation ladle argon blowing process (12min), and itsdesulfurization rate was52.17%in the experiment. It also can complete inclusions offcertain tasks, the inclusions removel rate was about30%, and the Al2O3inclusions removelrate was about25%. The most of inclusions were removed in the static blowing process,the inclusions removel rate is80%and the Al2O3inclusions removel rate is75%in theformer eight minutes, Inclusions can be completely removed about40minutes.The ladle bottom blowing argon flow filed had been analyzed by numericalsimulation, water simulation experiment was used to test and verify the numericalsimulation result, moreover it can measure the mixing time of ladle, it also can measure theremoved law and time relationship about the interaction slag washing material andinclusions. The test statistics was made about desulfurization rate of the field production.The results show that the ladle bottom blowing argon flow is the most appropriate staticblow flow in120NL/min, then ladle bottom blowing argon forming bubbles both can makeinclusions remove floating and mix well ladle, it also can ensure steel surface smoothwithout volume slag, Moveover it can prevent the occurrence of secondary oxidation insteel surface. The statistics show that the desulfurization rate was between35~62%in slagwashing process, the average desulfurization rate was47%, it had correspondingrelationgship with the dissolved oxygen was lower, the desulfurization rate was higher.
