| In practice, the relationship between economic development and environmental protection is a dilemma situation as you can not have your cake and eat it too. Not only are both radically contradictory, but also are interrelated and mutually promoting. A correct understanding of the relationship is the key to achieve the regional coordination of economic development and environment protection. But they are not in the same status, the environmental protection is the precondition of coordination. Therefore, the regional coordinating legalization path of economic development and environmental protection should be combined with the level of economic development in the region, and many other factors of climate, environment, culture, traditions, resources and energy consumption structure, guided by the concept of sustainable development, to establish a comprehensive decision-making mechanism, then enact regional environmental laws and regulation make it fit the area after comprehensive consideration in order to coordinate the operation security of economic development and environment protection. |
