Intelligent well is a system which monitors well’s parameters and reservoir dynamics remotely by installing downhole equipments. It has been developed and applicated rapidly due to its enormous potential in increasing production and improving recovery. The hardware study on intelligent well system in inland and foreign has made great progress, but the software system study, real-time data processing and interpretation included, still lags behind. To achieve a comprehensive intelligent well, one of the problems is how to process and interpret real-time monitoring data quickly and efficiently.In this paper, based on investigating the research results at home and abroad, components and key technologies of the intelligent well system are analysed in depth, and one fiber monitoring and sensing system has been designed. It can monitor real-time downhole pressure data. Downhole pressure data(collected by intelligent well’s monitoring and sensing system) is processed by MATLAB sortware with wavelet analysis, including noise reduction and simplification. The processed data can provide more clear and reliable information for subsequent downhole pressure data interpretation. Combied with reservoir seepage mechanics theory, downhole pressure data interpretation models are studied with data curve fitting method, and applied to actual production data to calculate, analyze, identify the type of formation seepage and interpretate the variation of formation parameters.This paper introduces MATLAB wavelet analysis and MATLAB data curve fitting.The processing and interpretation of downhole pressure monitoring data is initially realized. Combined with actual production data from intelligence well, there is some instance analysis and verification. All these enrich the study on real-time monitoring data processing and interpretation for intelligent well, and will be of great importance in further development of fundamental research in intelligent well technology.
