In this paper, 17 kinds of coatings from eight manufacturers were selected to study the corrosion behavior of the pressure vessel with an inner coating at high temperature and pressure environments in the presence ot CO2 / H2 S. Corrosion behavior of two coatings with excellent corrosion resistance(ACME6716 modified solvent-tree epoxy coating, JG-01 acid corrosion coating) and HD5054 organic ceramic wear resistant anti-corrosion coating in saturated C02 media was investigated by electrochemical test methods.The results showed that with the increase of temperature, CI", C02, and H2 S concentration?some of the coatings exhibited foaming, discoloration, cracking and other defects, while some coatings showed excellent corrosion resistance. In the simulated block working conditions, the umshiol epoxy anti-corrosion coatings, ACME6716 modified solvent-free epoxy coating and solvent-free epoxy paint coatings showed no discoloration, blistering?cracking, disbonding and other failures. Meanwhile, the adhesive force of these three coatings kept unchanged, which indicated that they have excellent chemical resistance and anti-corrosion performance in simulated blocks working conditions.The electrochemical test results showed that at the same temperature, HD5054 organic ceramic wear resistant protective coatings had the best corrosion resistance, ACME6716 modified solvent-free epoxy coatings followed, and JG-01 acid corrosion coatings ranked the last. As the temperature increases, ACME6716 modified solvent-free epoxy coating s corrosion resistance first decreased and then increased, JG-01 acid corrosion coatings showed opposite tendency, and HD5054 organic ceramic wear resistant anti-corrosion coating’s corrosion resistance kept declined. The result is more obviously exhibited in polarization curves. At 50 °C, the corrosion resistance of the three coatings were very close. Under the same immersion circumstances, ACME6716 modified solvent-free epoxy coating s corrosion potential(Eco丨T) is higher than the JG-01 acid corrosion coating and the current density is lower, indicated that ACME6716 modified solvent-free epoxy coating’s corrosion performance was significantly better than JG-01 acid corrosion coatings. For the same kind of coating?Econ- decreased while the current density increased with the immersion time.
