Through the establishment of static hydroponics system and dynamic matrix system, study on the purification effect of Veronica anagallis aquatica and Rumex patientia Linn on domestic sewage, the results show that:Static hydroponics experiment:(1) By 21 days of hydroponic experiments, the removal rate of COD of the blank group,the Veronica anagallis aquatica group and the Rumex patientia Linn group were 67.9%,86.2% and 89.3%; the removal rate of NH3-N of the three groups were 79.4%,91.1%,96.0%;the removal rate of TN of the three groups were 74.1%,88.7%,93.0%;the removal rate of TP of the three groups were 63.6%,87.1%,91.7%.(3)In Rumex patientia Linn group and Veronica anagallis aquatica group, the plants absorb effect on TN removal contribution rate were 31.94%, 23.43%, and the plants absorb effect on TP removal contribution rate were 46.28%,31.86%. The absorption ability of Rumex patientia Linn on nitrogen and phosphorus was better than Veronica anagallis aquatic.(2) The water quality of the two groups of plants were relatively clear and no odor eventually; The water quality of the blank group was turbid, and there were a faint smell, more sediment and a large number of filamentous green algae.The dynamic matrix experiment: By 30 days of experimental operating period,in the blank group,the Veronica anagallis aquatica group and the Rumex patientia Linn group, the average removal rate of COD were 52.1%,55.8%,56.6%, the average removal rate of NH3-N were 38.2%,43.6%,45.0%, the average removal rate of TN were 37.3%,42.6%,42.9% and the average removal rate of TP were 42.6%,45.6%, 46.2%. Correlation analysis of each pollutant removal rate displayed, the removal rate of COD had no correlation to other indexes and there were some correlation among the removal rates of NH3-N, TN and TP.Both of static hydroponics and dynamic processing systems,there were good removal effect on domestic sewage with kinds of conventional pollutants by veronica anagallis-aquatica and rumex patientia linn.
