Since the industrial revolution, greenhouse gases of atomosphere was increased, causing the greenhouse effect and global warming.methane(CH4), carbon dioxide(CO2), nitrous oxide(N2O) are the main three greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Rivers areimportant source of greenhouse gases, anaerobic environment in river is easy to produce methane and other greenhouse gases is can notbe ignored.greenhouse gas emissions from river was been studied aboard, but mainly in tropical regions, the research on river greenhouse gas on alpine altitudes is still a blank. This study is important for perfect GHG inventory.This study selected the catchment of Bai River on zoige plateau region, the Bai River is an important river at Zoige Plateau region,which is an important tributaries of the upstream of Yellow River. Floating chamber and static chamber-gas chromatography was used for supervise of greenhouse gases(include CH4, CO2, N2O), maenwhile monitoring environmental factors. Four different zones of river and three different regions of the river werequantified the amount of greenhouse gas emissions respectively. Key factorsof greenhouse gas emissionsandspatiotemporal variations of greenhouse gas emissions were explored in this study.Mean CH4 emission rate of bai River is 0.11±2.08 mg m-2h-1,for different zones, deepwaterarea(A) is 0.98±2.08 mgm-2h-1, shallow water area(B)is 0.90±2.15 mgm-2h-1, drawdown area(C) is 0.03±0.57 mgm-2h-1,the grassland(D)is 0.11±0.53 mgm-2h-1. CH4 emissions of AB zones is significantly higher than CD zones.For different regions,only in B zone,downstream is significantly higher than upstream and midstream,there was no differences on other regions.Mean CO2 emission rate of bai River is 87.08±286.82 mg m-2h-1,for different zones, deepwater area(A)is 64.97 ±280.40 mg m-2h-1, shallow water area(B)is 50.86±284.72 mg m-2h-1, drawdown area(C) is 97.67±292.99 mgm-2h-1,the grassland(D)is 87.08±288.56 mgm-2h-1. There was no significantly difference for difference zones.For different regions, only in D zone,downstream is significantly higher than upstream and midstream,there is no differences on other regions.Mean N2 O emission rate of bai River is 0.017±0.273 mg m-2h-1, for different zones,deepwater area(A)is 0.017 ± 0.363 mgm-2h-1, shallow water area(B)is 0.90±2.15 mgm-2h-1, drawdown area(C) is-0.017±0.229 mgm-2h-1,the grassland(D)is0.039±0.254 mgm-2h-1. There was no significantly difference for difference zones.For different regions, only in A zone,midstream is significantly higher than upstream and midstream, there is no differences on other regions.
