In the condition of science and technology keeps improving, the development of steel production facilities also become diverse. So the machines’ performances have improved greatly. Meanwhile, the repairment of facilities become complex. In recent years, the giant and complex systems produced, which leads the uncertain factors become more and more. As a result, it has been a problem to the systems’ repairment strategy. So how to solve the problem related to uncertainty has been an urgency in this field. And seek the methods that can deal with the diagnosis and repairment of the complex facilities and the uncertain acknowledge are the purpose of the investigators.Because there are many problems related to uncertainty in the machines’ diagnosis, the traditional ways can not meet the requirements. However, the uncertainty theory appearance and ability to solve problems has led itself to be one of the main investigation directions by the investigators.In this paper, the author uses the Bayesian networks and evidence theory to deal with the uncertain problems during the fault diagnosis, then he finds another new fault diagnosis and the related method to realize the fault diagnosis. By the verification with instance, the results show that this method is feasible. The work and innovations are as follows: 1. Using the uncertainty to solve the related problems during the fault diagnosis; 2. Build the fault diagnosis model with Bayesian networks; 3. The inference becomes simple by inferring the partial areas; 4. The evidence theory solves the assuming conflicts, and realize the combination of knowledge; 5. Build the draught fan system model. By contrasting the experimental data with tests, the author gets the conclusion that the diagnosis method is feasible, this paper established a fan Condition-based Maintenance strategy method; 6. In the same modeling method, which can be used to model the various components of Picking line and Galvanized line, further, it is concluded that fault diagnosis model and Condition-based Maintenance strategy of Picking line and Galvanized line.
