With the planning and development of Chengdu-Chongqing economic zone integration, the governments promote the construction of infrastructure vigorously. As a consequence, the cement and concrete and other building material are greatly demanded. But there is lack of the high-quality supplementary cementing material of cement and concrete, with being a tight situation in Sichuan province. On the other hand, much of industrial solid waste, titanium slag and circulating fluidized bed combustion ash (CFBC ash), is abandoned and underutilized in this area. A large amount of plough is occupied and the environment is damaged. Meanwhile, the enterprises suffer from the bottleneck in further development since it. Therefore, this article plans using titanium slag and CFBC ahs as the supplementary cementing material (SCM) of cement and concrete to ease environment pressure, make up the gap and break the development bottleneck of the enterprise.Research on the basic physical and chemistry features of the titanium slag and CFBC ash, much of active mineral and little of activated substance, the free calcium oxide and sulfate ash, are discovered in CFBC. But its water demand is high. And it properly causes poor stability in building materials products with much content. Titanium slag has water reduction because of the smooth surface and compact texture and a small number of active-mineral. Thus it can be seen that complementary state is presented among their properties exactly. Therefore this paper proposes the method of composite titanium slag and CFBC ash to prepare the titanium slag-CFBC ash supplementary cementing material added in the cement and concrete.By this, effect of titanium slag, CFBC ash as single and compound admixture on micro and macro performance of cement and concrete was investigated, and comparing it with fly ash and S75 slag powder. The result indicated that it can play a complementary effect, when mixing of the titanium slag and CFBC ash. When the mass ratio is 2:1 between the titanium slag and CFBC ash, the composite system shows a pretty performance in mechanical and operating property, which the activity index is same with the secondary pulverized coal ash. The grade of cement P.C 42.5R and P.C 32.5R can be prepared, when the clinker is replaced with 30 percent and 50 percent mass by composite system, respectively. Through the micro analysis, it can be obtained that titanium slag can improve the compactness of the structure of hydration gelatin, and CFBC ash is useful for pozzolanic reaction of titanium slag. It make that the compressive strength of concrete of(?)the composite system is same with the grade S75 slag powder. Composite system could improve the carbonation resistance and sulphate resistance of concrete compact with alone CFBC ash. The metakaolin adds into the composite system to be the titanium slag-CFBC ash-metakaolin system. It is useful to increase the activity index of mortar with raising the hydration product of cement system. It has strongly ability to improve the compressive strength in later period. Instead of 30 percent cement mass as mineral admixture, the compressive strength of concrete is higher than the pure cement in control group at 60 days.
