Nature reserve, one important measure of biodiversity protection, plays an increasingly vital role in maintaining regional ecological balance, promoting scientific research and so on. With the rapid development of global economy and the increasing number of nature reserve, how to scientifically and rationally evaluate reserve pattern of ecological and environmental status quo has become important issues of nature reserve construction and development. Therefore, it is of great significance to nature reserve of research work, on nature reserve ecological environment protection, and management to choose the GeYu City nature reserve as the research study, combined with Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) technology to comprehensively evaluate and analyze ecological landscape and ecological quality of the study area, the main research results are as follows:From 2009 to 2013, the main ecological landscape in the study area type was agricultural land, orchard land and forest land, and the three farming classes accounted for more than 80% of the total area. Forest land was the most significant, decreased by 3.39%. The rapid change was transportation land; with growth rate of 33.16%. The total rate of land use change increased, comprehensive dynamic degree of 1.21%, indicating a slow overall changing speed. Transfer between various land uses types occurred. The main types of transfer were forestry land and orchard land, and the major types of land were agricultural land and transportation land. Among agricultural land, orchard land and forestland have transformed greatly.From the comprehensive index of land use degree 5.99 and the change rate of R was 0.02. The results showed that the degree of land use was slightly higher and in slow development period.Ten indexes were chosen to analyze the change of the landscape pattern of the study area. The results illustrated that:during the research period, the degree of landscape fragmentation increased, and the distribution of patches was increasingly decentralized. For example, the number of landscape patches increased from 1108 to 1137; Contagion index, s value declined from 47.4397 to 47.4397. Looking from the landscape space complexity, the value of each patch means, patch fractal dimension, s value is close to 1, showing that landscape patch shape tends to simplify. Landscape diversity index, s value increased from 2.9223 to 2.9223, The largest patch index, s value reduced from 15.753 to 15.3776, Landscape diversity decreased, the interference intensity is increasing, landscape pattern stability descended.On this basis, the PSR model was used to take into account from pressure, state and response three aspects, and the index system of ecological environmental quality evaluation of GeYu City nature reserve was established; based on analytic hierarchy process with expert scoring method, we got the weight value of each index factor; the study area score was acquired by using comprehensive evaluation model, the total score was 0.3730, belonging to the fourth level. This indicated that the region ecological environment quality was poor. At the same time, aiming at the main problems, we put forward the countermeasures and suggestions of ecological environment restoration in order to provide a reasonable reference for the future protection research.
